Description:
A brass rectangular plate that was mounted on one of the 2 davits aboard LST-325. The plate includes information on the davits, with the standard information in raised lettering and the specific information (serial number, date, inspector, etc) engraved in raised sections. Heavy wear and some tarnish make some parts of the text difficult or impossible to read. Some spaces, including the Inspector entry and U.S.C.G. Application Number entry, do not appear to have been engraved at all.
