Title:
Marina Pointe Building
Object ID:
2017.003.01
Object Name:
Print, Photographic
Date:
07/2003
Description:
Photograph of the building at Marina Pointe in July of 2003 while LST-325 was docked there for the 11-day visit as part of its 2003 River Cruise. This is approximately the same location as the ship's home port from 2005 to today, though the building was destroyed by fire and replaced in the intervening years. The photograph appears to have been taken from a helicopter sitting on the shore, as the end of a rotor can be seen overhead and its shadow is visible on the ground.
