Black & white print of a photograph showing LST-1084 (U.S.S. Polk County) anchored off an unknown shoreline with the bow doors open and ramp partially lowered. The main deck does not appear to be loaded and both davits seem to be lowered. A smaller craft, possibly one of the LST's two LCVPs, is visible at the far right edge of the photograph. The ship's number and a copyright mark for Our Navy, Inc. are stamped in gold lettering near the bottom.
