Black & white print of a photograph showing LST-601 (U.S.S. Clarke County) underway in an unknown location. The main deck does not appear to be loaded and a large white design can be seen painted onto the area, likely as a helicopter landing pad. Both davits appear to be loaded and the superstructure features the extended mast/tower common for LSTs during the Vietnam era. The ship's number and a copyright mark for the U.S. Naval Institute are stamped in gold lettering near the bottom. "Extra" is written on the back in blue pen.
