A set of 40 photographs in digital format, taken from the CD that constitutes 2019.011.01. The photographs show LST-665, LST-704, and several other LSTs and ships operating during World War II. While the exact locations and dates are unknown, the paint schemes of several ships and service histroy of LST-704 indicate that the photographs were taken in the Pacific Theater. Along with the two specific LSTs, other notable features of the photos are: the launching of LCT-1144 from the deck of LST-665, LVTs launching from an LST, U.S.S. Overton County (LST-1074), U.S.S. Curry County (LST-685), U.S.S. William C. Lawe (DE-313), a hospital ship, an LSM, several aircraft carriers, several (Japanese) submarines, and U.S.S. Stark County (LST-1134).
