Description:
Black & white print of a photograph showing LST-772 (U.S.S. Ford County) moored to a buoy in an unknown river or harbor with the bow doors open and ramp partially lowered. Several large pontoon-bridge segments or barged mounted to the starboard side block view of the main deck. The starboard davit is lowered and the LCVP is at the bow of the ship while the portside davit is raised and loaded with the other LCVP. Several members of the ship's crew can be seen sitting atop the starboard section of the bow doors. The ship's number is stamped in gold lettering at the bottom and a copyright mark for "Our Navy, Inc." is printed in the bottom right corner.
