Description:
Black & white print of a photograph showing LST-507 sailing in the Atlantic on the way to Europe in March of 1944. The ship is loaded with an LCT on the main deck, though 4 of the ship's 6 davits appear to empty. The rear two davits are loaded with LCVPs. The ship's number is stamped in gold lettering at the bottom and "Our Navy Photos, Brooklyn, N.Y. 11217" is printed in the lower right corner.
