Print, Photographic
Description:
Black & white print of a photograph showing LST-1141 (U.S.S. Stone County) moored in an unknown location with the bow doors open and ramp partially lowered. The main deck does not appear to be loaded, though several men can be seen standing and walking around in that area. The port davit appears to be loaded while the starboard is empty, with the LCVP tied up alongside the starboard side of the ship. A second LST is tied up along LST-1141's port side. The ship's number is stamped in gold lettering near the bottom and a copyright mark for Our Navy, Inc. is printed in the bottom right corner.
