Description:
Black & white print of a photograph showing LST-802 (U.S.S. Hamilton County) udnerway in an unknown harbor. There does not appear to be any vehicles or cargo on the main deck, though several sailors are standing at attention both near the center and at the stern. Both davits are empty with one LCVP moving along the port side of the ship. The ship features several modifications including the addition of two large crane arms just ahead of the superstructure and a significantly larger-than-usual mast. The ship's name is stamped in gold lettering at the bottom.
