Description:
Black & white print of a photograph showing LST-838 (U.S.S. Hunterdon County) underway in San Francisco Bay in 1966. There are no vehicles or cargo on the main deck, but the ship has an addition two large crane arms just in front of the superstructure and a significantly larger structure at the mast. The port davit appears to be loaded with an LCVP, while the starboard davit is not visible. The ship's name is stamped in gold lettering at the bottom and "Our Navy Photos" is printed in the bottom right corner.
