Description:
Black & white print of a photograph showing LST-311 sailing in an unknown port or river. The ship appears to have ambulances and other vehicles on the main deck though the davits are empty. Several smaller craft appear to be faintly visible in the background at the far left of the photograph and a barrage balloon can be seen overhead. The number for the ship is stamped in gold lettering near the bottom of the photograph and "Our Navy Photos, Brooklyn, N.Y. 11217" is visible in the bottom right corner.
