Black & white print of a photograph showing LST-980 (U.S.S. Meeker County) underway or being towed in an unknown location. The main deck does not appear to be loaded though both davits are carrying LCVPs. In the photograph, LST-980 features the extended mast/tower of the Vietnam Era, indicating the photograph was taken during teh ship's service between 1966 and 1970. The ship's name is stamped in gold lettering near the bottom and "Our Navy Photos, Brooklyn, N.Y. 11217" is printed in the bottom right corner.
