Description:
Black & white print of a photograph showing LST-598 sailing along an unknown coast. The ship appears to have some type of cargo on the main deck. The port davit is raised and loaded with an LCVP while the starboard davit is not visible. The ship is painted in the mottled camoflage utilised by LSTs in the Pacific Theater. The ship's number is stamped in gold lettering at the bottom and "The Naval Institute Collection" is printed in the bottom right corner.
