Description:
A view of the main deck of LST-208 from the mast; several men are visible in the conning tower. The LST appears to be in the Suez Canal following in single file behind another, unidentified LST. According to NavSource, the ship is underway to Calcutta, India in preparation for Operation Ratchet (British invasion at Regu Creek, Arakan, Burma) around November of 1943.
