Description:
Black & white print of a photograph showing LST-391 (U.S.S. Bowman County) sailing in an unidentified port, possibly New York. The ship is not carrying any vehicles on the main deck, though a white screen (possiby for movies) is set up in front of the cargo hatch. Two or 3 of the ship's 4 davits are loaded. A tugboat is sailing behind the LST and another ship can be seen moored to the Isbrandtsen pier. The ship's number is stamped in gold lettering at the bottom and "O.N.I." copyright is also stamped in gold in the lower right corner.
