A photograph showing LST-824 landed on shore with bow doors open and ramps lowered, in 1968 or 1969. The photograph was taken from the shore off the port bow of the ship, and shows the ship's entire length. Two camper trailers can be seen on the main deck of the ship. The location and exact date of the photograph are unknown.
