World War II War Ration Coupon Book. This ration book is issued in the name of Lotta Minnis. These ration books were used for the rationing of food, gasoline, clothing, ect. during the war years of 1941-1945. When a rationed item was purchased you had to present your ration book along with the coupons. (Example) 5 gallons of gas = 1 five gallon gas coupon given to the gas station attendent out of your war ration coupon book.
