1970s Reprint of US Navy propaganda poster featuring drawing of USS Oahu by R. E. Goode originally from Nov. 10 1931. The USS Oahu served in China and the Philippines from her commissioning on Oct. 22, 1928 until sunk by Japanese fire on May 5, 1942. The poster features the title "YANGTZE RIVER GUNBOATS" above the image, with the caption "U. S. S. Oahu Patrolling the Yangtze River" just above the description text (see quoted above). Identification number "14432," "10.500" and publication date "11-10-31" printed at bottom of poster.
