A typed and bound history of LST-762 (U.S.S. Floyd County) from her construction and launching at the Ambridge, PA Shipyard through her decommissioning at Bremerton, WA in 1970. The history was assembled and published by Mr. Wally Walters of the LST-762 Association using the ship's deck logs (obtained from the National Archives), personal accounts and anecdotes, and a separate operational logbook from World War II. It also includes a large number of photographs taken and/or collected by crew members throughout the ship's life. This work numbers approximately 80 double-sided pages.
