Recounting of a story from Bender's time aboard LST-901. This story tells of the ship's return from service to Seattle in late 1945. In order to get back in time for Christmas the ship was traveling at maximum speed and nearly crashed into "downtown Seattle" if not for the pilot and Bender's engineering crew.
