Description:
Digital copy of a photograph showing Japanese POWs on the main deck of LST-1022 chipping rust. Another LST can be seen in the background, though no number is visible. A caption has been written on the back of the photograph in cursive with pen. A stamp is also found on the back which dates the photograph to 21 March, 1946, though this may be the printing/developing date of the photograph rather than the date it was taken.
