Description:
Black & white print of a photograph showing LST-209 (U.S.S. Bamberg County) sailing in an unidentified location. The photograph appears to have been taken during the ship's service with the Military Sea Transportation Service in the 1950s due to the modified conning tower. The starboard davit holds an LCVP while the port davit is empty. "Bamberg County --- LST-209" is written on the back of the print in green colored pencil. Another number appears have been written above this but was (partially) wiped away.
