Description:
Black & white print of a photograph showing LST-240 sailing in an unidentified location; the movement of the water suggests that the ship may be reversing. No cargo is visible on the main deck, though both davits are loaded with LCVPs. A tugboat or similar vessel is also visible in the background of the photograph. The ship's number is stamped in gold lettering at the bottom. Writing on back in pencil suggests photograph may have been taken in July of 1943.
