Description:
Black & white print of a photograph showing LST-461 underway somewhere in the Pacific during World War II. The ship does not appear to have any vehicles on the main deck, though some small equipment or cargo does appear to be there. The two davits both appear to be loaded LCVPs. The ship is painted in the mottled camoflage used by the ships in the Pacific Theater. The ship's name/number is stamped in gold text at the bottom and "The Naval Institute Collection" is printed in the bottom right corner. "1944" written in upper right corner in pencil on back.
