Description:
A photograph showing LST-824 [U.S.S. Henry County] landed on the shoreline at the Cua Viet Base in Vietnam during the year of 1968. The photograph appears to have been taken from the conning tower of LST-824, and shows two forklifts moving supplies into place on the main deck of the ship. A pair of LCMs [Landing Caft, Mechanized Mk.8] (including LCM-600) are visible on the left side of the photo. It is labeled with "CauViet" [sic] on the back.
