Description:
A black & white print of a photograph showing LST-230 and LST-898 (U.S.S. Lincoln County) being each other on an unknown shore while loading or unloading. LST-230, the main focus of the photo, has its bow doors open and ramp lowered, with several men standing around in front of, inside, and on the main deck of the ship. A third vessel, likely another LST, can be see in the background on the right side. No information is provided on when or where the photograph was taken, though the only recorded incidence of both LST-230 and LST-898 being in the same operation is the Occupation of the Far East during September of 1945.
