LST-379 and another unidentified LST (British HMS Boxer class) unloading tanks as part of a practice landing in England in 1944 according to information written on the back of the photograph. NavSource provides conflicting information suggesting this photograph was taken during a landing near Salerno, Italy in September of 1943.
