Description:
Black & white photo print showing LCT-254 (mk.5) hauling several landing barges tied up to its port side on the Illinois River near Rome, IL. Photo is labeled as having been taken in Fall of 1942 though stamp of printing dates this print to Jan. 30, 1943. Along with the stamp for the print creation and photo contents information, the back also has the number "328" stamped in one corner and more recent writing which states "Donated 8/27/07" and "Mrs. Stiemling Estate" in black ink. The edges of the photo have been trimmed with a pattern for display in a scrapbook or similar.
