Description:
Black & white photo print showing a tugboat or similar pushing a line of 4 LCTs (mk.5) and possibly a landing barge on the Illinois River near Rome, IL. Numbers on the LCTs are too small to properly identify the craft. Photo has stamp of printing on back which dates this print to Jan. 30, 1943. Along with the stamp for the print creation, the back also has the number "328" stamped in one corner and more recent writing which states "Donated. --- 8/27/07." and "from --- Stiemling Estate --- Rome Il, on Il River" in black ink. Stamps and writing on back upside-down compared to front image. The edges of the photo have been trimmed with a pattern for display in a scrapbook or similar.
