Digital copy of a photograph showing USN sailors lined up on the Main Deck of a new LST at the Evansville Shipyard. The photograph was likely taken shortly after or just before the ship was "sold" from the Missouri Valley Bridge & Iron Co. Shipbuilding Division to the U.S. Navy for service in World War II. Several shipyard workers can be seen in the background with one, Mr. Harry Crawford, labelled in ink.
