Photograph of Mr. Reber Kennedy, Sr leaving his home for work at the Evansville Shipyard in 1944. Mr. Kennedy worked as the Foreman for the "graveyard" shift of a warehouse at the Evansville Shipyard. The Shipyard was located in Evansville, IN along the Ohio River and was owned and operated by the Missouri Valley Bridge & Iron Co.'s Shipbuilding Division from 1942 through 1945. The picture features writing on the back in ink labeling the gentleman pictured and providing very basic context.
