Monroe" which provides a basic biography of Daniel Monroe, Sr. with particular focus on his time aboard steamboats and work during WWII as a Senior Inspector of ship construction for the U.S. Navy on the first two pages. This includes the presentation of an Army-Navy "E Award" for Production excellence and the "clean sweep" broom raised on the mast of LST-878.
