Description:
A small, wallet-sized photograph of Mr. Theodore Thornton in his U.S.N. blues while acting as Shore Patrol in occupied Italy during World War II. Mr. Thornton's sleeve rate badge indicates he was a Signalman 2nd Class at this point. The back features writing identifying Mr. Thornton as well as the location and date for the photograph. Further writing is cut off and suggests the photo was cut from a larger sheet.
