Scope & Content:
A leather strap-bound scrapbook of postcards and photographs collected by Mr. Theodore Thornton during and following his service with the U.S. Navy. The scrapbook features leather covers, with the front also bearing painted text and images of an eagle, anchor, and at-sea scene. The interior pages are heavy black paper with the contents held in place by photo corners. The scrapbook has been disassembled for preservation purposes.
