Black & white print of a photograph showing LST-279 (U.S.S. Berkeley County) anchored at an unknown location. Trucks, jeeps, and other cargo is visible on the main deck. The starboard davit is lowered while the port davit is raised and loaded with an LCVP. Pontoon bridge segments are also mounted on both sides of the ship. LST-1167 (U.S.S. Westchester County) can be seen in the background. This suggests that the photograph was taken in 1954 or 1955. The ship's number is stamped in gold lettering at the bottom and "Our Navy Photos" can be seen printed in the lower right corner.
