Description:
Black & white print of a photograph showing LST-1176 (U.S.S. Graham County) underway in an unknown location. LST-1171 is a member of the De Soto County Class LSTs and thus features some key differences from previous classes of the ships (see catalog item 2017.009.162 for details). The main deck does not appear to be loaded. The back features several stamps detailing ownership (Photographic Laboratory, U.S. Naval Air Station in blue/purple and U.S. Naval Institute in red) as well as writing in pencil and pen.
