A set of 457 digital photographs and image files primarily related to the Evansville Shipyard. Many of the images are scans of pages from The Invader, a newsletter produced for employees of the Shipyard. Other files include photographs from the Shipyard and scans of blueprints or architectural drawings for the shipyard. The Evansville Shipyard was located on the Ohio River in Evansville, IN and was owned and operated by the Missouri Valley Bridge & Iron Co. Shipbuilding Division. In total, the Shipyard produced 167 LSTs and 4 other ships built on LST hulls during period of operation from 1942 through 1945.
