Commissioning ceremony for LST-157 at the Evansville, IN Shipyard (owned and operated by the Missouri Valley Bridge & Iron Co.) on 31 December, 1942. Photograph shows the officers and crew standing on the main deck of LST-157 during the ceremony. LST-157 was the first LST produced by the Evansville, IN Shipyard.
